Letter delivered by Timothy as Paul’s case is about to be decided

I. Greetings (1:1-2)

II. Thanksgiving for the "partnership in the gospel" with the Philippians (1:3-11)

III. Paul’s situation: Whatever happens, it will advance the Gospel (1:12-26)

IV. Encouragement to unity in the Faith and deference to one another using the example of Christ (1:27-2:18)

V. Timothy and Epaphroditus are to come to Philippi (2:19-30)

VI. Letter warning the Philippians against the preaching of "Judaising" missionaries (3:1-4: 1)

VII. Exhortation: Euodia and Syntyche are to be reconciled (4:2-3)

VIII. Exhortation: Rejoice and be at peace (4:4-9)

IX. Note thanking the Philippians for their gift, which Epaphroditus had just brought (4:10-20)

X. Final greeting (4:21-23)
